"We don't have a long-term plan for humanity," Ted Turner said during the 2010 Summit Series in DC. "Global warming is by far the most complex problem facing us today and we need to phase out fossil fuels...," Ted said. Check out the video.

I think there is renewed interest in the climate change topic since the BP spill. (which is silly I think, but atleast it is moving ppl to talk about it again) 
 
 
 
The Kerry-Lieberman bill will only add a cap and trade to utilities, but hey, its a starT!

Yeah it is interesting that Ted Turner is into renewables and sustainability. I had no idea before I saw this video! 
 
I am still wary as to whether a cap and trade bill will make it through because Obama has used up so much of his political capital to get the healthcare bill passed. And midterm elections are coming and everyone is saying the Democrats will lose big.
